Africa Tough Return & Warranty Policy

At Africa Tough, our commitment to you extends beyond the moment of purchase. We want you to be wholly content with your acquisition. Should there be any hitches, our return policy ensures you have options. Here’s what you need to know:

General Warranty – Exchanges/Replacements/Refunds

All Africa Tough products come with a 6-month warranty. Should you wish to exchange or replace the purchased product for a different size or colour variation within this period, and provided that the variation is available, we’ve got you covered. If the desired variation isn’t available, you have the choice of having the purchase price credited to your account or obtaining a full refund.

Promotion & Clearance Products

Do note, this policy does not extend to items bought on promotional offers or during clearance sales. Products purchased during these sales are final and cannot be returned, unless explicitly mentioned otherwise.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If you receive a product that’s damaged, has missing parts or accessories, or is incorrect, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free collection of the product. Post inspection and validation of the return, we will replace the product (provided a replacement is available) or credit your account or process a refund, based on your preference.

Defective Products

We pride ourselves on offering products of the highest quality. If, however, you find a defect in a product within our 6-month warranty period (assuming the product has been used correctly), we will make arrangements for a replacement or credit your account accordingly. The following will not qualify as defects:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper or incorrect use
  • Inadequate care
  • Unauthorized alterations

When returning goods:

  • Ensure all items are in their original condition, including packaging.
  • Complete a Returns Form available online or email us at for guidance.
  • Secure a Returns Authorization Number (RAN) before sending back any goods.
  • You’re responsible for the return, which includes organizing and covering any courier fees unless prearranged.
  • Once received and inspected, we will process the replacement or credit.
Vouchers & Coupons

Two coupon types exist: a fixed discount (e.g. R100 off) and a percentage discount (e.g. 10% off). The dynamics of how these coupons function in the context of returns or cancellations are as follows:

Fixed Coupon: If you cancel an order or log a return where a Fixed Coupon was used, the coupon’s value is deducted from the product’s purchase price, and the balance is credited to your account or refunded.

Percentage Coupon: For Percentage Coupons, the value of the discount from the coupon will be subtracted from the purchase price of returned products, and the balance will be credited to your account or refunded.

In scenarios where a voucher was used, the refunded portion of the purchase price paid will be credited back to your account. Cash refunds for voucher-based purchases are not available.

Charges & Incorrect Deliveries

If you return a product without all its original accessories, we might refuse the return, replace only the returned items, or deduce the value of missing items before refunding or crediting. If a non-compliant product return occurs, the sender bears the costs of both collection and re-delivery.

Should you receive an incorrect product, notify us within 24 hours. We will collect the incorrect item free of charge. Post validation, we’ll send you the correct product or offer a refund or credit, based on your choice.
